Meet The team!
CEO, Co-owner, and Metal Artist for Steel Umbrella.
I am an entrepreneur who believes in hard work. I’ve been building this company since I was 16 years old, back when I started my first company in 2006 “Fisher Electrical Enterprises” repairing electrical equipment for construction companies. In 2014, I officially started “Steel Umbrella” which started out as a metal art business, but slowly turned into a place for all artist to share their crafts and creative ideas.
I come from humble beginnings. Working for years at a retail job for over 10 years while simultaneously building my dream job.
I believe in hard work as if it were a religion to me, and I transfer that same energy and commitment into my company’s culture.
I set out to create a company for the artist, the creators, the craftsmen. a company that challenges and changes the statuesque, of traditional marketing. A company whose culture starts with new ideas and experimentation. A company which makes you family
COO, Co-owner and Photographer for Steel Umbrella.
Have you ever looked up at the sun, and thought “hmm..I wonder what angle could you get those sun rays just right? If I crouch down, stand on my tip toes, lay on my back, climb a tree?” In that moment, you hear a shutter speed *click, and just like that, the moment has been framed and captured forever.
Howdy y'all! I have always had a passion for photography. From a young age iv always been curious about how to capture that perfect, shoot for the stars, fairytale moment. I have taken photography and creative art classes throughout my life, until one day in one of my college film classes I had a realization; that everyone who was into photography at my age had surpassed my strengths as a photographer and I was falling behind. So at this time in my life, I decided to put the camera down and go out and get a real job to pay the bills. And it wasn't until I met the love of my life, that he nudged, well more like pushed me to go after my dreams. Telling me everyday that its worth the struggle, its worth the grind, just keep at it and soon you'll be able to be your own boss, make your own schedule, and be able to make a living doing what you love to do.
I hope that one day very soon, that I will be the person you call when you need that moment captured forever. Be it newborn photos, engagements, wedding day “I do”s, mimosas with the girls, to grandmas 80th bday party... for all of lifes little moments that you want to captured, I hope you think of me. :)
